Shoes must be flat, black and appropriate for school, no trainers please. Please do not send your child to school in shoes that hamper them when running in the playground. Your child should be in shoes which he/she can manage him/herself. High boots and high heels are not suitable for indoor wear at school.
We ask parents NOT to send their children to school with extreme haircuts eg. Sculpting, skinheads and patterns.
P. E. Kit: P. E. Kit for girls and boys: black shorts, plain white T-shirt or polo shirt, a pair of plimsolls – (elasticised ones are essential for the younger pupils). P.E. draw-string bag in which to keep the PE kit.
Children must have a change of clothes and footwear for P.E. for health and hygiene reasons
All school uniform and P.E. kit should be named. Many of the clothes the children wear are the same or very similar and if un-named the children are not always able to recognise their own uniform and neither can the teachers. Much time can be wasted, particularly with younger members of the school, looking for lost clothes - please help us by naming everything.
